LOL&LALALA (instagram) (website) is a small, independent festival in Provence — half stand-up, half concert. The vibe is alternative, intergenerational, left-ish, a bit NPR. It’s great.
For the poster, I focused on the idea of artists and audience being on the same level. You can see it as a crowd, or zoom in and notice the little details. Each character has their own story. I also included a few organizers and artists from the upcoming line-up.
Creating a whole set of characters gave them flexibility — they could use them separately for social media and newsletters. It was a bit chaotic, but in today’s world of constant communication, that actually helped.
