Elektrofreund is an app designed to help people transition into the world of electric vehicles. It's a personal project by my friend Martin Menzel, a passionate EV owner and advocate eager to share his knowledge—hence the name "Elektrofreund" (Electro-friend).
I took this concept quite literally, basing the branding illustration on his persona: a witty, ginger-haired man. To keep things friendly and approachable, I hand-drew everything, maintaining a simple, clean style.
While electric vehicles are often presented with a tech-heavy approach, that's not the focus here. The app aims to offer fundamental knowledge and advice in a relaxed, conversational way—think of it as a friend's perspective on EVs.
The app is available for beta testing.
